Fender Tele-bration

The rich history of Fender guitars begins with the Telecaster, and we're celebrating its 60th anniversary with very special "Tele-bration" models that stay inside the Telecaster's famously elegant lines while offering the finest and most unusual takes on the instrument's past, present and future. Stay tuned for more information on additional Tele-bration models.

After the Telecaster blazed a new trail through the 1950s, a new version featuring a bound body-the Telecaster Custom-was introduced in the early 1960s. Our '62 Telecaster pays striking homage to that guitar, with an Olympic White lacquer finish, black binding and white pearloid block inlays on a rosewood fretboard.
