Guild Guitar Starfire

Guitar Guild including many kinds, with categories Starfire II, Starfire III, Starfire IV, Starfire V , and Starfire Bass fall into the category Guild Guitar Starfire, and following one of my guild guitar models taken from the Starfire II, as follows

  • Available 1960-1969
  • Pickups DeArmond single coils (1960-63), humbuckers (1963-73)
  • Scale 24 3/4"
  • Body Laminated maple or mahogany. Bound front, and from 1962, back. 1 7/8" thick, 16 3/8" wide, 20 1/4" long
  • Neck 1 piece set mahogany, rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, dot inlays.
  • Hardware Chrome plated. 2 volume and 2 tone controls, pickup selector switch. Harp tailpiece.
  • Finishes Standard finishes: initially Cherry and later Sunburst (until 1967) Custom finishes: (from 1962), Ebony Grain, Emerald Green, and Amber.
