This guitar is quite old guitar that Fender created in 1958 and was named the Fender Jazzmaster. Jazzmasters is anodized metal pickguard. This pickguard extraordinary thick, about 0.100 inches. These guards provide good looks, and sheilding to boot. Unfortunately, starting in the summer of 1959, Fender changed to white, black, white pickguard, tortoise celluloid (except in certain Jazzmasters custom colors, which have, black white, white celluloid pickguard instead).
