Limp Bizkit Complete New Album

Limp Bizkit has completed the final mixing sessions for their new summer release Gold Cobra. The new album is one of two projects the band is working on. The band publicised the completion in two ways. Fred Durst tweeted, finished" to his twitter followers, and the band put out a video which features a snippet from the new record, albeit a tiny one. You can see the video below.

David Schiffman mixed the new album. Prior to the Limp Bizkit collaboration he worked with Biffy Clyro, System of a Down, and Avenged Sevenfold. All bands which are in a similar vein to Limp Bizkit.

The other project which was referred to earlier this year does not have a release date or a title. Of the project, Fred Durst tweeted: "Obviously we have two albums here, in case you didnt pick up on that. First one is Gold Cobra'. Due soon."

Gold Cobra, is the first record the band have released since guitarist Wes Boreland rejoined the group, and it features collaborations with Kiss bass player Gene Simmonds, Wu Tang Clan rapper Raekwon, and Lil Wayne also lends his vocals to the project.

Gold Cobra is the bands fifth album and is believed to be released in the summer. Currently, there is no official release date for either Gold Cobra, or the new project.
